Communicating the Crisis & Conserving Hope: Using powerful communication for wildlife conservation

¿Por qué asistir a esta sesión?
To gain insight into more effective, comprehensive and targeted communication with a purpose of building awareness and action for wildlife conservation.
HideDescripción
The Lion’s Share will host an event focused on the role of effective communication in building a global movement for wildlife and nature conservation. The Lion’s Share, as administered by UNDP, is an innovative fund that enables the global brands and advertisers to make a contribution each time an animal appears in their advert. The Lion’s Share jointly finances wildlife conservation along with a global communications programme to generate greater compassion for animals and conserve hope itself. The fireside chat will feature the private sector and NGO communication experts championing conservation for a discussion regarding lessons learnt from existing wildlife-based campaigns, and the role of private sector in joining the fight to protect species from extinction. Speakers include Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier, Andrew Zuckerman, world-renowned filmmaker and photographer, Chris Nelius, Director and co-founder of The Lion's Share, and Usha Rao-Monari, Associate Administrator, UNDP.
